**Update: I’ve got the review/preview of BodyPump 67 up here **
It’s that time again… We’re about to gear up for the next BodyPump release! Woohoo!
BODYPUMP® 67 is another strong and challenging release. This quarter the focus is on communicating the workout factor participants will get from each track. Instructors do this by coaching the specific weight selection, training objective and exercises used. Check out the new take on some old-school bicep training and a new Plank Crunch to challenge the core stabilizers. And watch for the chance to increase your weight selection in several of the tracks so you can get stronger, faster.
The music is a classic BODYPUMP® mix that features Heavy Rock from Finger Eleven in the Chest Track, with E–Type’s Eurofighter next up. P!nk is in the house with one of her biggest hits for the Triceps Track, followed by a wild and cheeky Bon Jovi number for the biceps work. So, cruise into the workout in the Warmup and get the feel of the steel with a mix of Deadrows, Wide Rows and Deadrows With Underhand Grip.
Then challenge your legs using a high number of Bottom Half Squats while keeping perfect form. The strong beats of Jan Wayne’s Piece Of My Heart will lift the commitment level of the workout. Enjoy the ‘X–factor’ in a wicked Shoulder Track and the Plank Crunch that rounds out the workout in the Abdominals Track. BODYPUMP® 67 is an awesome class that’ll leave you feeling physically exhausted but emotionally empowered!
Like I said in my previous post, I had a listen to the release tracklist and it’s pretty cool. I can’t wait to see how the Plank Crunch is going to work. I still love the Moby song from 66.

hi,
would you know what songs are used for the lunges and abs? I can’t wait for the new release! just feels like yesterday that 66 was out…
I read somewhere that the lunge track will be Fragma - Toca’s Miracle. Dunno about the abs though. It said, Be My Baby by the Ronettes, but that’s like 40 years old. Must be a remix or something.
The rest looks pretty good though. The new BodyCombat sounds wicked as well.
Is the warmup track the Leona Lewis Bleeding love or is it by the person in the link? Anyone knows if it is a remix?? I know it’s coming out in a few weeks but I want to start listening to it to hear the chorus, bridge etc etc cos I have my training in a month! :O
All the links point to the right version/remix.
I assume you mean you BodyPump module training, yeah ? All the best of luck with that! Let me know how you go.
I started the bodypump on JuLy (bp 66).I really enjoy myself with the songs. They were all fabulous^^
Rain down love, on your way to the disco, get up…etc
The bodycombat 36 song’s are very good too =)
Bye
The moby’s song was top =)
Absolutely, that Moby song rocked. I love the rolling side plank. Just wait till 67 though… New move… even more painful :)
*sigh* I am so tired of hearing paralyzer. It wasn’t even a good song when it came out. So played out. Getting tired of Pink, Gwen, and Cascada too in BP. They must have some kind of sweet license deal in place since they use so much of their music.
Not that thrilled with the music choices so far. OTOH 66 rocked, so did 63. 62 wasn’t bad. 60, 61, 64 were terrible. I like Aerosmith Angel for the cool down on 67. I guess at least it ends well. Oh well maybe the choreo is good. Plus in a few weeks its back to mixes anyway :-)
Hmm.. looks like I don’t listen to the radio anywhere near enough… I never really heard any of these songs before I got the Pump CD. I’m much more of a Dance/Trance/DnB kind of person (You should come to one of my Cycle classes… It’s like a nightclub on a bike :)
I don’t mind the Cascada stuff, it usually has a pretty good beat and sensible lyrics. E-Type on the other hand…;)
67 has grown a lot on me over the last few days of learning the choreography. Pretty standard stuff for the most part. The warmup track is a bit back-to-front, but everything else is cool.
You didn’t like 61 ? The tricep track was a bit weak, but the rest of it was pretty good I thought. I was going to agree with you on 64, but I did it again this week and i actually quite enjoyed it. I got everyone to put their weights up a bit and we really focused on the workout rather than the music. We had a massive workout. I’ll admit that i didn’t use the abs track though. Hotstepper just doesn’t do it for me. Neither does the Chest track from 62. Urghhh.
BODYPUMP 67 is an incredible workout! I’m here in NZ, and it got released on Sunday for us.
The extensions on the chest track are harder, and some of the combos in it are quite hard to master.
Theres also a reverse grip on some of the single rows, and it puts a lot of strain on your legs.
Nevertheless, its an amazing workout - recommend it for all!!
the be my baby remix is
Mutya Buene - B Boy Baby (2007)
hi does any one know that bodypump cool down song which tends to repeat the phrase ’so far away’? it breaks out into a little bit of mauri chanting and it’s a beautiful duet ballad. if someone could let me know the song title and artists that would be awesome, as i’ve been looking everywhere for it. thanks
Hi Sasha.
I think the song you’re looking for is So Far Away by Amici Forever. It’s on BodyPump 60.
