Well, I have finally gone and done it. I am now an actual LesMills RPM instructor as well.

I know a lot of people like my So you want to be a BodyPump Instructor page, so I have written up something similar on my experience in becoming an RPM instructor.

Here it is: So you want to be an RPM Instructor

Whoa. I haven’t been here for a while and suddenly you’re teaching RPM as well? Awesome! What’s your secret on juggling your time for a permanent job, side career and family life? Would like to take pointers from you :)

Hi again.

Not much of a secret really…Family comes first. Then, it’s a toss-up between the permanent job and the side career :)
No, really…Naturally my real job comes before instructing.

I think I manage it all by using ‘idle time’ as best as possible. I have a 40 minute train ride to and from work every day. I do all of my class prep and choreography learning on the train. Even most blog posts and review/review posts are written on the train.
Ahh, the wonders of a small netbook, 3G wireless internet and an ipod touch :)

It’s surprising how much you can get done in 2 * 40 minutes per day.

Somehow, I always manage to find time to do the things I actually want to do ;)
